NOVA is a mixed reality short film that investigates time, perception, and spatial transition through a hybrid virtual production workflow. The project treats the camera not only as a recording device, but as an active system component that mediates between physical performance and digital space.
The film was produced using an LED wall–based virtual production pipeline, integrating Unreal Engine, C4D, real-time environment rendering, camera tracking, and live performance, Motion Capture, lighting, and perspective were continuously adjusted in relation to camera movement, allowing physical and virtual elements to remain tightly synchronized during filming.

Post-production focused on temporal structure and system continuity across scenes, with sound developed as a narrative and structural layer. I composed the original score and designed the complete sound world in Logic Pro, shaping how rhythm, texture, and silence respond to visual pacing, scene transitions, and narrative tension. Rhythmic pulses, textural layers, clusters, risers, and impact events were used as structural cues to articulate time shifts, spatial compression, and moments of rupture.
